During the peak on Sunday, in excess of twenty-eight thousand electricity consumers in the state were without power.
Meteorological Predictions
Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along large portions of eastern Queensland this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.
The following day was predicted as the wettest day, with persistent storm activity expected across multiple regions of both regions.

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the state's northern country region, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
