Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
